Former Super Eagles defender Taribo West has revealed how Italian mafias had chased him out of his Italian club back in his football days.

Taribo West who has since retired from football and became a Pastor granted audience to the ScoreNigeria where he talked about all of his trials and travails while he played for Italian giant, Inter Milan club side.

Taribo joined The Rossoneri from city rivals Inter Milan in December 1999 and made just four appearances before he was sent on loan to Derby County, then in the English Premier League.
