President Buhari departed Abuja today Sunday, August 25th, for Japan ahead of the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development
The conference will hold from August 28th to 30th. The President who is accompanied by three governors who are Babagana Zulum of Maiduguri, AbdulRaham AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu Lagos state. The president was also accompanied by ministers and other top government officials. The President is expected back in Nigeria on Saturday, August 31.
Meanwhile, the leader of the proscribed, Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has vowed to disgraced President Buhari if he ever enters Japan. The IPOB leader made the statement a few days after a sitting Senator, Senator Ike Ekweremadu was disgraced in Germany by IPOB members, while he was on a visit to celebrate the New yam festival with the Igbo community in Germany.
