Nigerian singer, Temmie Ovwasa, popularly known as YBNL Princess, revealed her experience with popular Nigerian singer, Olamide’s label, YBNL.
Temmie Ovwasa signed a record deal with YBNL Record Label in August, 2015. However, she quit with the record label last year, 2029, for undisclosed reasons.
Yesterday, she held a Question & Answer session with fans on her Instagram story where some questions, private and public, were asked and the singer answered.
A fan asked her if she would ever collaborate with the singer, Olamide.
In response Temmie wrote that she was not in touch with Olamide and then went on to narrate the experience she had with the singer and how she was allegedly treated badly by the singer.
“The man brought me to Lagos from Ilorin as an 18 yr old, put me on a platform then proceeded to reject every show got, every offer I got, stopped me from releasing songs, kept me in his fucking house with his wife (who spoke to me like I was garbage in front of her friends) and kid in the name of family, put my face on the wall, on an album where the men were allowed to be people.
Temmie stated that she “doesn’t want to be associated with men who hurt others while carefully curating their public presence to reflect values they don’t uphold.”

Another fan asked her why she still had ‘YBNL’ in her name when she did not want anything to do with the singer. Temmie replied that Instagram has refused to change it.
