A Nigerian Twitter user identified as @ccem has shared an experience with his tertiary education institution, Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), for refusal to correct the name on his degree certificate.
The young man narrated how the school refused to correct to correct the wrong name on his degree certificate and he had to use an affidavit to leave the country.
After the departure, the school reportedly reached out to him to recognize him for a great feat achieved and the young man called them out instead.
In his words;
“Not ABUAD reaching out to recognize me for great achievement lol. I’m I no longer an olodo because I had a third class????
The same school that refused to correct my name on my degree certificate and I had to leave nigeria with an affidavit
A degree I spent at least 6m NGN on”
