Nigerians are swarming on the internet to congratulate Esther Chukwuemeka, a 19-year-old girl who is among the new wigs to be called to bar today.

Esther Chukwuemeka, was denied admission to study in Abia State University (ABSU) because of her age.

She was thirteen (13) years when she wrote the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination(SSCE), an examination she passed with flying colours.

She sat for Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) examination and was offered admission at Abia State University. The admission was deferred because the school considered her too young.

Unmoved, her dad secured her an admission in India to study her dream course – Law.

She graduated and returned to Nigeria, enrolled for the mandatory Nigerian Law School examination and graduated in one year.

Today, She is being called to the bar with the appellation of a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

She is currently 19-years-old.
